Warranty Claim Declined
Hi hope someone can help me.
Got a new warranty at the beginning of the month, thought that if i am going to keep the car for a least a couple of years that i may as well.
A couple of weeks later i started to get some sort of rattle on my car, weird sound like stones being shaken in a tin can. So as anyone would do booked it in with Honda in Bedford, they gave me a call later in the day and said it was the cat, they said it was about

Possibly start checking around with breakers just in case they say no !!
How much though, I have one chucked in the spare room, think i'll be a bit more careful with it in case I need to put it back on. Could look at an aftermarket sports cat ??

Surely that's not relevant? If you have a warranty it covers the car.... surely !!!!
Did the warranty carry on from the end of the Honda one?
I would have thought, unless they can prove that you damaged the cat yourself e.g. driving over a kerb or something, then it's covered?

They told me there was a month long "cooling off period" during which you couldn't make a claim, FWIW. Kinda makes a mockery of paying for a whole year though AFAICS..

Oh that's ridiculous !!!!!!
What are you paying for then ! Cooling off periods you can usually cancel something without incurring any charge, but check your small print VERY carefully about this one, especially with the bill being so large.
