If you want better sub bass penetration into the cabin then take out the spare wheel (or the rear panel behind the driver's seat) and move to one side the spongy sound deadening material immediately behind the rear seat panel.
I also have dynomatted the underside of the plastic roof tray to minimise vibration.

IMHO - sound deadening the doors makes the biggest improvement in terms of bang-for-buck.
I went for Alpine 9850Ri plus Focal Access 165 two-ways, sound deadened the doors and hey presto. Personally found this a very nice setup and decided not to amp-up.
