On Saturday afternoon, I'm glad I did not Vtec round the roundabout...
Was following a MX5 off a roundabout on the A41, I have to point out it had rained about 1/2 an hour previously.
The guy in the MX-5 tried to power out of the roundabout onto dual carriageway, when the back end went, he span and ended up on the bank....
Eventually the guy was stretchered off to hospital, it was a very sobering moment!

Ok. Lets lay the CC bait.
The handling to me feels suspect. I prefer front wheel drive.
How can he resist?
[foreyes=allexceptCC]Not my real view - I am a RWD novice but find the handling in the dry amazing. Not had the courage/opportunity to try hard in the wet yet.
There is a roundabout near me that I have negotiated for years and years. I have managed to make every car I have had squeak around this within a few days of the car arriving. Not managed it in the S yet though - four months now too. Sad reflection on my skills rather than the car.[/foreyes]

I was followed by a black V Plate S (your old one Paul? seems to live in Prudhoe) this morning in the rain, and he was really pottering around, didn't seem interested in trying to keep up with the Bluebird doing 50 mph
