VSCC Meet
I was chatting to RobM on here last night about going to a Vintage Sports Car Club event this year. Thought I'd see how much interest there was in general.
There are meets about every other weekend during the spring/summer starting late march-ish/April IIRC. They usually have something like a couple of Silverstone events, A couple of Donnington events, Cadwell park, Mallory park, Shellsley Walsh, Curbourgh and a few others (I'll post an events calender if ther's any interest)
You'll normally see stuff ranging from Early edwardian 'Flying Bedsteads' through to post war sports cars (D-type jags, Early Astons etc.).
THe Chain Gang (Frazer Nash Car Club and my spiritual home) are masters of the power slide (To be half way down a convoy of about 20 Nash's and see everyone infront and behind you sliding the tail out through a right left S bend is something to behold) and you'll see people slinging priceless cars around the tracks at some fairly frantic paces.
Entry prices are fairly cheap but vary depending on the track. I seem to remember it being 5-10 quid but that was a few years ago and I've normally managed to blag tickets through my dad so it's probably closer to 10-20 these days

Thats 4 interested parties (2 members of the Eagle Family, Rob and Me) which I reckon is justification for a posting of the Calendar when I get it.
Spoke to the parents and they'll e-mail me it when they get it

I have a calendar of classic events. These are from Andrew Greenwood who organises shed loads of them, and also does JAPS.
Is this the one you are talking about Ben?
I'll move to on topic

The ones I always went to were arranged by the Vintage Sports Car Club or were cross overs with people like the Classic car clubs. There will be quite a few events usually from March through till september
