VSA solution?
I believe that Honda use the same failure prone active braking / abs block as many other manufacturers.
This post on the E90 forum is very interesting and might offer an econimical repair for cars out of warranty:

Are you considering doing it?
I have got to move mine to fit a heatshield between my Turbo and abs/servo, ect. It may be worth killing 2 birds with one stone and fitting one whilst I'm at it.... Let me know how you get on.... Well spotted.

You Sir have a point there
The thought of driving mine(when it is running that is )in damp conditions without some sort of traction control scares me.If it is a "crutch for a bad driver" then I will hold my hands up to that.
