Vinyl Roof Material
Does anyone know where you can buy the same material (or very similar) as the OEM vinyl roof on the S2000?
I would be looking for about a square foot for a little project I am considering.
Any help would be appreciated.

Coincidentally, that is exactly what I did last week!
The tears in that area did look ugly, so I wanted to patch for cosmetic reasons more than to add strength to the material. For the record, I tested two adhesives, which had been recommended on the forum, on small offcuts, and I could find no difference between them. Both are waterproof and gave a strong bond. They were: Evo-Stik Serious Glue Fix & Repair Adhesive, and; Unibond Repair Extreme Power Glue. Both adhesives reach full strength after 24 hours, so I had to drive around with the hood up for two days.
The result was so good I replaced the six wear areas inside the hood, which I had previously covered with self adhesive felt, with the same vinyl material.
Paul F (as I said elsewhere, he of the dodgy underwear) was kind enough to give me some of his old hood material when he had a new one fitted. I have passed on small pieces to several other members, but as you can see, it is blue vinyl.
However, a large number of members were involded in a group buy (of hoods) recently, and I would have thought someone retained some of their old material, so don't give up hope. Loftus organised the group buy earlier this year so it may be worth PMing him to see if he knows of anyone who retained their old hood.

That looks very similar to what I was thinking about, looks good
I had thought about stitching a seam in to match the seam where the 2 panels meet and maybe a double stitch around the edges to make it look like it was stitched in rather than bonded but I quite like the simplicity of how you have done it, the radius on yours makes it look like it is meant to be there.
Thanks for the info on the adhesives as that would have been my next question

You could try contacting Monsoon Car Hoods, to see if they will relinquish some old vinyl.
I have sent enough customers there way (and they are really nice) , so they should be willing to give you some
