VIN Site wont accept it!
Is it because I was previously Trebor (had to change names due to technical issues) that I cant get the site to accept my VIN?
checked it umpteen times - but still wont accept

Most likely, yes. If the VIN has already been entered, the site won't usually let a second person use it.
A PM to HondaGal should do the trick. Explain your predicament and I'm sure Shelley will remedy the problem
