Default Vibration under acceleration...

Folks,

Put my car in to get the vibration under acceleration I am experiencing looked at thinking it would be the CV joint or driveshaft but it looks like the diff is causing it.

How much would I be looking at for replacing the diff?

Befor buying a new diff
Have you had any service that requires a change of diff oil at all.
Last year on my holls around europe after covering a few miles, while accelerating off from toll booths the car felt like it was on a lego brick road.
I managed to check the diff and found the diff oil was incorrect, just the standard stuff Honda put in all their vehicles, ( only the S2000 has a lsd) but unfortunatly LSD's are too demanding for the oil and it gives up.
I changed the oil to Motul 90PA LSD Oil and the car is perfect.

My issue was not really a vibration, as i say, the only way i can describe it is setting off on a lego brick road.

Hope this helps
Motul 90PA LSD Oil is around £16 for two litres, the diff holds 1 litre, so pleanty for another change at a later date. But do try to replace the drain and filler washer, to stop it from weeping, (Both nuts should be set to 45Nm and it is either 23 0r 24mm head on the nuts

first of all is the car lowered?

maybe before buying a diff you could maybe try driveshaft spacers as this eliminates vibration under acceleration

people have tried changing the axle cups over to the other side, i tried this but failed to work

try the small stuff before changing the diff
