Default Very intermittent clicking fromrear

Just want to check really, I'm getting a very intermittent single click from the rear of the car. Sometimes it will be from setting off, or a change of direction. other times going around a corner.
It's a single click. I can only describe the sound as like a threaded bolt slipping one thread through a hole, or a spanner tapping on metal.

Just wondering if this is the start of the CV joints going, or something else.
I've checked all the bolts I can find and everything seems tight.

Lift the back of the car up and check for any play on both rear wheels .... I had a similar problem a few years ago and it turned out to be the ball joint on one of the control arms.

I had the same on mine when we first bought it. Ray at Daytona went to work and sorted it in minutes.

Thanks, I'll see if I can do the axle nuts this morning and see how that goes.

If it's on change of wheel direction it's the hub nuts that need tightening. You should fit new nuts when you do it.
