Well your all right so far, shit, shit & even more shit.
The road surfaces wont get any better, the queues of traffic will still be around.
And all MP's couldn't give a shit, cause we the tax payer, pay for their big exc cars, and fuel bills, so they wil not feel any effect.
I think someones right if this was in France they would slap this idea & goverment senseless, But no not the good old Brit he'll lay down and suck it in. Greener enviromenet my arse, it is because the motorist is the easiest target of them all.
It's a con, and play on words "Greener Enviroment" whats next taxes on people who all pile in for the olympics??.

The budget report comprises 222 pages of utter sh1te (researched and published courtesy of the endless resources of the taxpayer naturally) and here is a little extract outling some of the further joys these ####wits have planned for us in the future:

I've been thinking about this today. Will it make car manufacturers think a bit harder about their performance cars? Will they now see that weight reduction and lower power is the answer. I hope so. With a bit of luck it'll stop the 1500kg 200bhp turbo hatchback and give us back proper hot hatches.
As for the mileage tax being fairer??? ...
I work 25 miles away from my wife. We live somewhere in the middle, so end up doing 25k a year between us. We don't sit in traffic queues as I changed my hours to avoid this. There is no public transport that would get either of us to work. So why should I pay through the nose, when the real congestion menace are those that live in towns/cities next to public transport links but still use their car. These people don't use much petrol as they do under 5 miles a day, so the fuel increases have little to no effect on them.
If this government insists on using green issues to tax the feck out of us, why do they get away with putting nothing back into roads or public transport? Because this isn't about the environment at all.

Lets actually put this into perspectibe for a second.
Yes, i'm majorly pissed off that the government has put up road tax and i think its totally wrong.
However, the reality is that there is a
