I can go out and buy a lower emission car, but bearing in mind that a car consumes more energy in its manufacture than it consumes in its life this in turn only causes more emissions......etc etc and someone else will be driving round in my old car causing more emissions etc.

isn't the s2000 just in the higher bracket? maybe it needs a retest for 2009
