Amuse Dual. JMP was part of the GB Fletch organised back in 2004.
I thought it looked like an Amuse.

I don't know if that can be repaired to a reasonable standard. May need a replacement silencer.

That dent in the Amuse should be repairable - a decent exhaust fitter should be able to get it reasonably round. However, it is the left side so you should be able to get a replacement.

I had forgotten about the sectional nature of it.

I reckon it will be a real fight to get an insurance co. to repair it, let alone even replace a section of it, especially the not so easy to get hold of Amuse.

I would inform you insurance company. Hopefully you have paid the extra for legal protection and can use them if it all goes to pot. Although your insurance may not cover the aftermarket exhaust the offenders insurance will have to so if it needs replacing they will have to pay.

OK.
I've just received a call from her insurance co. accepting full responsibility.
They said they will do it entirely through them and I don't have to involve my insurers.
They offered a few mainly backstreet named garages in my area, but will allow me to take it to my local Honda approved and I am to phone them back with the estimate.

Will be interesting to see what happens re the exhaust.

Phoned my local friendly Honda approved bodyshop to be told they are booked up for estimates till Monday!

So I drove it straight down and they did it there and then

I've now got to get some supplier details for the backbox section for the Amuse so they can estimate to replace the left backbox. This will be fun. The estimator looked bemused when I said it came from Japan via the US. Wonder what Directline will have to say about it.

So far they said they'll replace the back bumper, no. plate holder and number plate.

Hopefully me declining a courtesy car will provide some goodwill on my part so they can do a decent job of replacing that section of the Amuse.

Things seem to be moving very quickly, and by the sounds of it in the right direction which makes a nice change

I had someone in March drive into my parked S2000 but fortunately she left her number. After convincing her that it was definitely a claim (well over
