Default Used Tonneau Cover - is £85 good value?

It's all in the title really. I wanted to buy a new tonneau cover, but I can't find anywhere selling them. I've found an ad for a used one which is only 15 mins drive from me for £85.. I wondered if this was a good/typical price for a used tonneau?

Do you really think you need one? I've fitted mine once in 7 years, and it's bit of a faff.

Chippo: Where in the UK are you?

Wobbly: Yes. I have just bought a GT with hard-top which will be on for the winter months. One of the GT's I test drove had the tonneau fitted with the hard top and it looked so much tidier, rather than seeing the folded roof through the window. I plan to fit it for the same duration as the hard-top.

You have to butcher the cover in able to make it fit with the hardtop, so remember that. Not sure you could still use it without the hardtop afterwards.

You do? I didn't know that. Thought they were all standard bits so assumed would fit together. The hard-top's factory original if that makes any difference? Guess I'd better research a little more before buying..

They usually go for free here in the for sale section.

Mine has been in the loft for 5yrs and has just left with the new owner of my car and will probably end up in his loft
