Ta for the advice all.

Just not setup to buy one right now, and would like to keep the scoob a bit longer. I think it will be August time TBH.

I found that they start to slide Oct time. I feel Jan is the best time. The weather gets worse, people are skint after Xmas/New Year and the long month to pay day. A few get scared by the winter handling and sell up

Now is the time!

True but as people are skint I may struggle to sell mine!

Going to hang on against my will Can save a few more pennies too and get a good one.

ADP, that's a great photo, looks like it should be in a car mag. The hind 3/4s of the car are good but I can't get used to the front part, it looks a mess of bumps, ridges and holes, the earlier scoobs looked much nicer at the front IMO.

Another plan - sell your STi as and when you get a good price (autumn time?) buy a beater from then. Buy an S in January/when the right deal happens and either keep or sell the beater!
That should get you the best of both worlds!

Worth a thought... I'll probably just be impulsive and get one when the sun comes out

Its only money I guess
