How often do you use the car marc?

If it is not very frequent I may have a tip (which is a bit off the wall to say the least) that has helped with my S when I have left it still for prolonged periods.

I use the car quite often, had been out for a 30 or 40 mile blast the night before so the car isn't really left sitting for long, I'm hoping the battery disconnect will work.

Cheers

Marc

What is the tip anyway for future reference

Cheers

Cheers AE, had read about your day at the races when I tried the search, seems very similar, immobilizer light does not illuminate at all and neither does the malfunction lamp with ignition on. Also no sound from the petrol pump starting. Has to be electrical. If I update the alarm the immobilizer when this is sorted can this problem happen again. Do you have to have the honda immobilizer functioning as it self arms anyway or will a new one replace/bypass it. Thanks again to everyone who has posted.

Cheers

Marc

Car is still sat on the drive , will have to sort something this week

Unfortunately sounds exactly like what happened to me. Came out one morning, engine would crank but no immobilisor light and wouldn't fire. Had to go in and had fried one of the circuit boards

Where abouts are the circuit boards, particularly the ones that go bang, don't mond taking a few bits apart.

Thanks fluffy, think the car will end up going to the dealer's but not before I've tried everything I can.
