Unstable on heavy braking

Guess so, you still want to brake the front of the car more than the rear

Maybe it is a bit more rear focussed because we have accord brakes on the back and civic type R ones on the front, I don't know


I do think the rears are massivly underpowered though and don't work very well

No we don't. Similar, but not the same (check the part numbers).

Rear braking stability is affected by the alignment and tyre pressures.

The calipers might not be completely similar but the pads are, if you look at Ferodo's website it'll show you what pad no's go with what cars.

Calipers might have different fixing points or the castings could be slightly different hence the different part no's.

Might even be so that they can charge more for s2000 calipers than accord ones

Discs and master cylinder are also different hence the system is different. There will be most likely be a different front rear bias because of that.

You want to brake the front more than the rear because of the weight transference under braking irrelevant of weight distribution.
