Unichip
#31
As I know from guy who installed unichip and anticipated the vtec entry to 4,500, he also modified throttle response to vtec entry, to solve problem of cruising at highway speed.
I suppose that with unichip you can modified throttle response to vtec. He lowered it to 3/4 pression.

I'm about to take the unichip plunge as well, but would want to tune the partial throttle so as to maximize the unit, since my car also gets bad gas mileage during city driving as well. what happened to the thread starter did he have any success wit this unit?

Any idea where I could go and get an AFR run on the car for reasonable cash?
Yes I know this is a delayed response.
We are slow over ere.

If your car runs rich, it would probably be best to diagnose the problem rather than mask it with an AEM. It's less likely the ECU is doing it alone. Do you have an AFR graph?
You may have something like a duff MAP sensor or other fuelling fault.
But an AEM will get every last drop of power. It's the way i'm going.
AJ - I sort of get what you mean, after deciphering it DTA doesn't have much relevance to this topic though - wandering again
