I've had the Focal one running in mine for the past 2 years. It fits well under the passenger seat and delivers a great sound when run through my Alpine idA X100 head unit. I can't compare it to a boot based sub, as I've not sat in an S2k with one in.

I trialed the cheaper Alpine units and Halfords - they really aren't worth it, you'll find yourself frustrated. Even though the Focal cost near 2.5 times as much - it is certainly worth it.

If you're in south London over the Xmas period PM me and I'm happy to show you how it sounds.

I wonder if it would fit where the spare tyre goes (if you're happy with removing that?)

Just a thought...
I did think about that but would need to sort out the rattle from the plastic tray above first.

I have a massive order of silent coat arriving soon so may coat the bottom of the tray to try and cure it!
That alone won't cure the rattles. The system of clips that Honda used just isn't up to the job when you throw a large volume of air movement at it.

Any pictures Rikki?

So just need the Sub, Guess it does not come with leads to wire it in? What did you use?

Already have a Stero that can power it,

Should be quite a nice fit,

Quick Update

I've taken a punt on one of these: http://www.hifi-tower.co.uk/Auna-10-...107_1379_0.htm

If you compare the pics to the focal BUS 25 you will see that they are identical. A bit of research shows that the above sub, the focal BUS 25 and one other sub (beat something or other I think) all come out of the same factory in China and are just badged up afterwards.

Will take some pics when fitting and write up a little review.

The Auna seems to have a different driver to the Focal sub (at least that's what the photos show) but at £120 it looks great value for an S2000 install

Sorry to drag this back up again, but how have you got on with the sub?

Hi guys.

Sub was great and appeared to be identical to the focal unit. Even took it apart to have a look inside. Had focal references on the PCB. Can't comment on the driver though apart from the fact that it was dual 2 ohm as per the focal one.

Unfortunatly it's quite a big unit for an under seat sub and I couldn't get it to fit anywhere. When in the boot it didn't really add anything over my components but when it the cabin it really did sound good.

I ended up sending it back. Might think about trying the 8" version later in the year.
