Ultimate racing turbo kit
Hi Guys,
I've seen for sale a Ultimate racing turbo kit and knowing nothing about cars would like your expert opinions whether or not its any good and what issues it has if any.
Thanks for any feedback

I've never heard of this kit, and the only S I know of turboed in the UK was a total nightmare for the owner.

Steve,
My advice is to read the thread in my signature as it goes into the ins and outs of forced induction.
Going for a turbo or supercharger is something you should NOT do unil you have explored every avenue. Its a complete minefield. Finding someone to fit it, map it, your insurance, the effect on the car, etc etc.
If you are serious then spend at least a month reading some of the old threads on here and on the US Forced Induction forum.
At the end of the day, turbo's are more efficient and can give more power but they are very expensive. They take away the revvy nature of the car somewhat, which really is the soul of he car.
S/C is cheaper and keeps the cars character. You can go for big power but it wouldnt be my choice for that.
About all that needs to be said really!

The ultimate racing is well regarded by our colleagues across the pond but you would need custom piping fabricated if the kit is a lhd car kit. As everyone has said above, only the most hardcore modders should consider a turbo.
