(StevenM, what's on at Snetterton the 30th? Can't find anything on Octagon's site. I could be interested).
Sorry Tresbon, OT I know but you won't mind! I could suggest some diversions up here in the backwoods of Norfolk - hey, not unconnected with Virginia, come to think of it - but the only thing we have to offer is pigs, this being farming country. There are several pursuits possible with them (and I don't mean a Hog Roast, or Pig-Pickin' as I knew it in North Carolina), however the only thing is the noise ...
Best bring ear plugs Yawl take care now, y'hear?

Just noticed this thread....
I work in London but usually go home to Kent or away out of London somewhere for the weekends. #
However things are rarely set in stone. What sort of non tourist type evening entertainment are you looking for? Just how broad minded is your wife?
Just trying to gauge whether you are looking for totally outrageous or just skudding around the streets of London at night with the roof down and grabbing a couple of beers.
The 27th is a Thursday so it may be that the few that go for mid week drinkies may be up for a bit of a meet.

I am out and about in London every weekend and some nights in the week too, what sort of thing do you like doing? prefer bars, clubs other?
Not sure how old you are, but the places might be a bit young for your tastes.
What sort of things do you like doing? What sort of music do you listen too?
if you not up for raving could always meet up for a quiet drink, I work in the west end most saturdays so it's easy for me.
