AAS said in the future they could build me a equal length manifold out of Inconel !!
That is a very exciting prospect for me but i think it may well be extremely expensive to boot.

They have a good reputation. I haven't used them, but I know quite a few who have.
Fujitsubo used to make inconel exhaust manifolds for the NSX, IIRC they cost something insane like £16k.
