Another vote for Admiral for me. Everywhere else was way over the top (30, 2yrs NCB, street, UK car). I spent a whole weekend ringing around. Admiral were the last call.

Tesco was cheapest for me, and service seemed fine - then they were selling it me! I hope not ever to claim *touches wood* so I don't know what their service then would be like, I would expect it to be ok though.

Oh mine includes track days too - just need to notify them

Gazzer, I don't know whether you are going to find anywhere that will send to a Honda approved bodyshop.

When I had my prang, Tesco offered me the choice of using their own local approved garage (meaning I wouldn't need to get an estimate before work could commence) or I could nominate a garage of my own. I phoned my local Honda dealer and they said that they didn't have an approved bodyshop as such, but that they tended to refer people who asked to a particular place. That to my mind was no protection at all to me if the job was subsequently botched, so I ignored it.

As it turned out, the Tesco-approved garage was also approved by Jaguar, Porsche, Ferrai, Lotus and a host of other people for repairs to their vehicles. The warehouse was full of all manner of prestige cars when I went in to collect mine. And this in a bodyshop tucked away in one of the least salubrious parts of Birmingham city centre....... It taught me that you can't prejudge what the insurer's approved garages are like, especially not just by where they happened to be based.

So, Tesco gets the thumbs up from me, both in terms of cost and their claims process.

Have now made my decision and changed to Tesco (from Liverpool Victoria). Two cars as stated - S2000 and Scorpio estate - both fully comp with business use.

Took about half a day of typing in details and speaking to pushy brokers but eventually saved
