UK F20C stroker build - Need advice on tuner
#21
Another update:
While waiting for my Toda chain tensioner to arrive, I installed an OEM tensioner from a low mileage car for the first start.
Before starting, I checked the oil pressure while just cranking, and it measured at 26psi, so pretty good!
Then, with everything connected and a basemap loaded on the ECU, I started it up. While it wouldn't really idle, when revving the engine it sounds great and the response is brilliant.
Also, after a recommendation from a friend, I'm taking it to Jesse at JCAL for mapping - he has experience with S2ks and said ECUmaster ecus are no problem for him.
So, next I just need to tidy up the map, then get some miles on the engine before the dyno on 14/10.
