Default Tyres tyres tyres

I know you're all tired of tyres but :

- have done 12,500 and the rears are shot.

- need excellent wet weather capability - so I assume F1's are the only choice ?

- I'm going to go to Bracknell as I think they have good prices.

- my fronts are still okay - should I just get rears and wait til the fronts are shot ?

Am I doing anything wrong ? Should I mix ? Do I keep the same sizes ? Anything else ?

I know this has been discussed to death but I'm just plain lazy.

I need a complete set, just tipped over the 10,000mile mark - roads around here are terrible

Are F1's cheaper than OEM S02's? I think this is the only way I would switch.

Full set of S02's is

Seriously? This week? Im off work with nothing but chores to do so.....

A track day followed by a trip to Bracknell would not be a cheap day but certainly "the right thing to do".

I'll see if I can find anything.

If you want plenty of track days you need to be joining the Honda-R club. That's the main purpose of the club and they are well organised!!!

It's not just set up for Type R cars it's for anything with a Honda badge on it.
Myself and Brian Marshall are the only S2K owners .

Hi Matt,

I do mean to get around to joining Honda-R. Im not sure how useful it will be for trackdays tho - most seem to be in the north and Im the wrong side of the M25.

This looks promising : http://www.pistonheads.com/trackdays/displ...ent.asp?id=1846

Castle Combe sounds ace - but ... I'm tied up with some work thing in Ealing. What about this w/e - or are there any evening events ? Really need to scrub those tyres !

I think I saw a couple of events on Saturday but I didnt take too much notice as Im gonna be hungover on Saturday! Try EasyTrack or BookATrack.

Castle Combe thing looks great - right location & date, not too expensive, and it looks like they have availability.

Guy, if you're going to change to F1s, change all 4. If you get F1s on the back and leave the S02s on the front, you'll find it will handle like a pig!
