Tyres again!
Okay, basically i always get bridgestone re050's for the rears but im wondering if there are any longer lasting tyres? i.e goodyears etc but wont be dangerous in the wet?.
Sorry maybe no one knows or cares , but i need new tyres soon.
Cheers

Goodyears are great in the wet, however they are very soft (one of the reasons they are good in wet is the compound is suited to lower temperatures).
It's going to be hard to find a tyre thats good in the wet and lasts a longe time. Personally I use the RE050As and they are fine in the wet, comparable to the T1Rs but without the jelly like sidewalls

RE050's are about the best for wear.

I'm not sure if this will help but I used to use Uniroyal rainsports on my Gti almera and in wet weather they are great for reducing aqua planeing and lasted a long time too under hard driving conditions.
But I'm unsure if these will be any better or worse than RE 050'S as I've only had them on my s2k a short while.
