dont get RE050A's. Put 1900k now and i hate them over the s02's. Understeer and no side wall strength. running 34i and still poor.
Only plus with them is in the wet, they feel alot safer
wish s02's where still around.

Putting Toyo T1-R's all round next saturday, dont fancy using the RE050A's as they have so many bad reviews from S owners.
T1-R's are highley rated, just put 34psi all round instead of 32 and they are fine. Better wet grip too.

Dont take this the wrong way hoppingdeth but if you cant feel the tyre walls flexing your must be doing motorway driving. My other half ask what's wrong with my car when i went round a roundabout. Think that say's it all. :-)
I say again better over the so2's in the wet and thats about it!

When i first went from my old low prodile 18s to the 17 with Toyos, even my sister asked 'how come the car rolls more now'?
Seriously the Toyos are like jelly , and at speed you can feel them moving about as you load up the tyres. Certainly not a track tyre.

really. Thought that would be better? Well im looking to goto 17's now less tirewall to move around.
Is tramlining a bad thing? Well yes it's a PITA, but perhaps that suggests a better feel for the road and a better (i.e. more solid) construction? A soft tyre might insulate you from the road better, but is that what you want?
