Hi Russel
Jim Dickson is reckoned to be a good bet as AE says. I have to go to kwikfit as thankfully someone else pays for my tyres although to be honest, they have been fine - Rob the Manager at the Anniesland branch sorts them out himself and does a good job. I'm off for a new set as well this week.

OK, thanks guys. JD is about 15 miles from me. I live in the city centre so not that big a deal to get them. I presume he will know the correct SO2's and not put porsche tyres on

My first set of rears lasted me 17500 miles.... The fronts are still on!
(Note to self - thrash car more often!)

There is a bit of a pattern here.....
i bet all those sub 10k on the rears are on S02's
All the rest are on RE050's
I'm impressed with how long the RE050's last. Mine have done 12k miles including two trackdays. I reckon i'll get rockingham out of them too.

Easy question here. It's recommended to change tyres in pairs, especially on the rear due to the diff. Is it an issue if you have different brands between front and back. e.g. SO2 front and Eagle F1 GS-D3 on the rear?
