Tyres
Hi, can anyone give me some advice that might have been in the same position as I am now...
Going to the nurburgring soon and my tyres have had it so I need some new ones. Do i buy the orginal Bridgestone Potenza ES02JZ (Which I really like their grip levels) or go for Yokohama A-048 semi slicks? I don't hardly do any wet driving and I've used A-048's in the past and really really like them also.
I would go for the A-048's straight away for their extra grip but I'm very worried about this extra grip causing oil starvation. Baffled sump??
What would anyone recommend? Slightly less grip but peace of mind - Potenzas
or More grip but possible engine damage? - A-048s
Sounds like a no brainer but I don't actually know if the A-048s will cause any damage so thats why I've asked. Thanks for any help. p.s. The car is standard. Alric.

How does more grip cause oil starvation? Is it because you will be able to pull more G's and thus move the oil about more?
