Tyres
Hi, sorry to ask about tyres, I know it's covered in the FAQs but as I live in Switzerland and have just been bombarded with several tyre offers I wondered if someone could confirm if any of these are the correct tyres.
Bridgestone:
Front: Bridgestone 205/55 R 16 89 W S-02 TL
Rear: Bridgestone 225/50 R 16 92 W S-02 TL
Eagle F1:
Front option 1: Goodyear 205/55 R 16 91 W Eagle F1 GS-D3 TL
Front option 2: Goodyear 205/55 R 16 91 W Eagle NCT-5 TL
Rear: Goodyear 245/45 ZR 16 Eagle F1 TL
Presumably the Goodyear option 2 is wrong because they're not "F1", but what about the option 1 fronts, they don't have "Z" as part of the name - is that the correct tyre?
The F1s are about

The only tyres that Goodyear make in suitable sizes for 16" wheels on the S2000 is the GS-D2.
Which is a pity cause I think the GS-D3 is a better tyre.

See the above link for a picture of the OEM Bridgestone S-02 tyres (there are different types of S-02 made and the S2000 versions have ES02JZ on the sidewall). Make sure you get the right S-02's as other S-02's will give too small a footprint on the road.
If you are buying any other sort or make of tyre, the rear's will need to be 245 width not 225 width (as the S2000 S-02's actually give a 245 width fitted).
More than that I can't really comment apart from saying that in my opinion if you want a better wet weather tyre Bridgestone S-03's are really good and I would think (I don't know for sure but I strongly suspect this) give a lot more dry grip than F1's.

Thanks both, I'll go with the Bridgestones then. I did stress about the ES02JZ type being very important but I'm going to send them the pic that you linked as well, just to make sure!
Thanks again
