inner tyre wear is normal on the 's' and any dealer will tell you that. i was concerned about mine and had the geo done at the dealer still get the inner wear. it's as if the wheels are toeing out too much. but what i have found is if you don't rag it so much around corners you don't get so much uneven wear.
it's also got somethig to do with the negative camber.

Yeah, you can see the camber on the rear wheels with the naked eye - surely this will give more wear on the inside edge?
Depends on the type of driving you do. If all you do is sit on the motorway then thisis true, the camber will generate wear on the inside edges.

However, the whole point of the static camber is that when the suspension is loaded up in roll the tyre will become normal to the road (0degrees camber) which will obviously give a more even tyre wear. So if you hoon about a lot, or just generally drive on twisty roads more the tyre wear should be much more even than f you just zoomed up and down the motorways.

My car is up to 36k now and is now on it's 3rd set of tyres. I reckon that makes 18k a set of S02s
I'm ashamed to say that I got 16700 from the first pair of rears and 22500 from the front pair. Eh, those are unfortunately miles, not kilometres. Really should give myself a good talking to!
Neither pair really needed changing at those milages, tread depth-wise, but the car didn't feel as planted as it did before.
