The RE050a (for the 16" wheels) does not have a direction arrow, so it's possible to swap the wheels over.
Bassoctopus' is quite right about swapping the tyres, but not the wheels from side to side.

Is the RE050a different? I'm sure it is asymetric i.e. has an inside and outside but not a rotation arrow.

It will only work with symetric treads like on the SO2 and you would have to take the actual tyre off to swap, you can't just swap the wheels.

RE050A are Asymetric. Thats what the A stands for.
Very clearly on the side wall of mine is 'outside' on the outside. I have not check but I would assume inside on the inside
