Tyre wear - Is 5k miles acceptable?

With 45k miles on the car:
Rear:
1st set SO2 replaced with SO2 at 19k
2nd set replaced with RE050 at 38k
Front:
1st set SO2 replaced with SO2 at 19k
2nd set replaced with RE050 at 45k (used the swap sides on 2nd set)

I don't drive like a lunatic but neither do I drive very carefully either.

Based on this 5k sounds entirely wrong.

I think I'm going to try goodyears next time, Bridgestone dont seem to last too long and i dont drive aggressively.

I am a driving god, and I get about 12k from a set, unless I track it.

Since moving to MK I get a less on the near side - those 350 roundabouts

I did actually once ruin a set within one week; always have new tyres fitted AFTER the track day, not before!
