My S is my daily driver and i'm quite happy to go through a full set of tyres every 3 months.

Just depends what you want out of it.

If I wanted my tyres to last ages i'd of bought a fiesta.

It's actually down to running track geometry on the road, scrubs the inside edges, but I like how it drives.
