Tyre Pressures
I read in the TEQ section about tyre pressures on the car, suggestion was that 34 PSI should be the correct pressure for Eagle F1s, with 32 PSI for the OE Bridgestones due to the harder tyrewall. (car has continental sport contact tyres all round) I am not doubting this info in any way cos you chaps are pretty much always right, however just got my car back from Honda after being repaired with two tyres/wheels replaced and it feels much bumpier/jumpy on the road.
Am just wanting to check that I am doing the right thing by inflating the continental tyres up to 34psi on this car, given that I had a slight spinning incident a while ago at this pressure...
Are there any tyre boffins about?

Not a tyre boffin by any means but somewhere between 32 and 34 to your preference. If it feels wrong at 34 just drop them to 33 and see how it feels. That's what I'd do

I had exactly the same problem after the dealer had its mitts on it. I was thinking of trying it with lower pressure this weekend, on the basis that softer wheels would absorb the bounces a little more. Is this sane ?
Cheers.

It's definitely worth trying different pressures. I run Bridgestones on 34 and F1s on 35 - I definitely had more jittery behaviour on lower pressures and traction also improved with a bit more air.
That said, the roads here aren't that great and that may have a bearing on my settings.

I think the pressures may be too low on mine as they were before and when I up'ed the pressure to 34 the car did feel better on the road. Believe it or not I havent checked yet cos its just back from Honda and I thought they might have got it correct, but afterall my tyres arent OEM. Will check tmrw and see how it feels. Cheers guys

I think you have to experiment a bit if you are using rarer tyres.
No one else was using my winter tyres on the S before I got them, so I had to try various pressures - generally a trade off between feel, ride quality, grip.

when i was running 32, i couldn't really tell if one tyre had lost a bit of air...
now i'm running 34 i could feel that one of the tyres had a few less psi in it than the others...
