Thanks guys, top service.
Right went to the dealer, he noted down all the tyre specs and I compared mine to the ones on the S in the showroom. He said he would call me back.
He just called me back, my new tyre IS wrong. My dealer is blaming on a miss pick by the tyre company, who are now sending me a new one. However it is on very short supply and I can't get it until end of this week/next week.
So go to your suppliers and shout at them if you have anything but the first tyre spec quoted above.
I know were supposed to be watching our language on the board, but
AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH H

Boy Wonder - Spot on!
Glad it's not just me!!!
This country is hereinafter referred to as sUKcs!
BTW, the 225s are hilarious in the wet - they break away so early, you can really drift the back about gently. The 240s have much higher limits, but are more like the Twix advert - snap and they're gone.
The 225s are a bit twitchy is you are daft enough to use full VTEC in a straight line on a greasy road. I can understand how some people have had the rear step out if the road is off-camber etc, under those conditions.
They do give more warning, though, so like the F1's, some people might actually prefer them.
Having said that, F1's are cheaper and the fronts match!

Just been to Dixons Honda and had tyres checked
They agree that they fitted the wrong one on the rear
Booked in for Tuesday for replacement
(also spotted slight wheel damage from when they fitted the wrong tyre a couple of weeks ago - they are going to look into that too)
I know there has been several threads about wheel damage in the past - but what do you reckon - should I push them for a new wheel?
or a new set?

Hyndland Honda put their hands up and replaced all mine, each of which were marked. However, I did check mine before driving off from the dealer, and immediately gave it the :
"I want to see the manager" treatment.
If you only noticed later, you may struggle to argue that they caused the damage.

Been to Dixons (Honda) again - they still agree that the wrong tyre has been fitted - but are awaiting delivery of the right SO2 from Letchworth. Also agreed to provide new rear wheel!!!!!!!!!

yes - seems to be the "only place in the UK" that has the correct S-02!!
Personally I dont believe it - but I'm getting another new tyre and a new wheel as well - so a few more days shouldn't matter.
unless anyone knows where there is a S-02 in the North of England??????????
