Never really come accross these before but after doing a quick bit of research they look quite good; Stiff sidewalls as well from what I have read in one user review so may be a good option for the S.
Where can you buy these cheap though? People above in this thread are suggesting these tyres can be had cheaply but theyre

OK; let me start here by apologising for the question I'm about to pose because it's been asked a zillion times; Reason I'm asking is more for how people are thinking rather than which is definitively the best option.
As far as I can tell, just about everything points to the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric as being the overall best option for a fast road-going S on 17" wheels, if money isn't brought into the equation (which it always is but stay with me here).
Phil above is looking to try the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta which intrigues me purely because it's a manufacturer I havn't looked at up till now but just about everywhere I look it gets great reviews and comes in very high in a lot of tyre tests.
Also the Potenza RE050-A gets great feedback on the 17" wheel.
Camskill sell all 3 of the above options with only a few quid difference really.
So what is it that has made you decide to go for the Vredesteins Phil? Have you tried the others? Is it purely price? (Always nice to save a few quid admittedly).

What's wrong with the OEM MZs?
I can't do a fair comparison really, my re050's where nr. slick when they came off. But I can say that I'm impressed with the F1's so far, particularly in the wet.

That's a fair question Bass.
Going by the MyTyres test results the MZ's appear to fall below the 3 mentioned above in a number of areas; particularly wet grip.
Also, they're hard to get hold of now without paying a premium it seems (MyTyres are the only place I can find them listed atm and they are
