I'm glad it's not just me! I thought it was drinking more because the lid was off, but I realised I was just flooring it more! Oops!

THe intimation was that I couldn't make a good launch I've never tried to sidestep the clutch after Don Palmer's assistant, a Caterham racer IIRC, tried it in my car and quickly realised he was going to burn the clutch out!

I wouldn't be launching your car if it was mine
I only did one hard launch and that was against the Rover, turn your volume up and you'll hear the Godzilla venting/whistling away at 6 or 7K, Mugen exhaust sounds nice too.

I suspect someone who can make a good launch will get an S2000 with a changed final drive into the low 13s
I'm hoping for mid/high 12's when I get the 4.57's fitted.

I wouldnt of thought it would be a good idea launching lots of time esp if you cock it up, i can imagine it burning out?

My diff isnt cryo treated. But i managed low to mid 13's with a crappy gtech so its def possible.

I think Crail times you have to take with a pinch of salt, the track is so down hill you can't see the cars cross the finish line.
