Tracked My S for the first time 23rd May

Good write up and pics, thanks for sharing. I'm glad to read evo have changed the format of their trackdays, they used to run them before Dunlop Cup events at circuits - which meant running with some talented and some would be racers. They were very 'ego' based days with lots of extra special briefings needed to calm things down....
Got to agree about instruction, worth every penny especially at a new circuit. I only do a few trackdays a year and I find I need to break my road driving habits again with the help of an instructor (adding lock and shuffling hands are usually the culprits!).
Your summary of the new Scooby STi seems to match what I hear from others, it's an improved car but has lost the excitement and involvement of the older ones...progress eh!?

Sounds really good. Looking forward to my first trackday on 17th July at Elvington. Bought myself a crash helmet today.
Gonna make Mrs Ninjadave look at your post as she is worried about me taking it still and hopefully your write up may even pursuade her to come along and drive herself.

Glad you enjoyed it MQ.
I suspect you may well have caught trackitus.
It's a fairly common disease often caught at track days.
A known short term cure would be to come to Anglesey later in the year.

Exige owners getting drenched? Exige owners are men who eat live chickens and bathe in swarfega. We leave our roofs on. You must mean Elise?
