What usually happens is that someone puts up the date they're thinking of on the events section of the board, and people join them, hopefully 4 people book or 1st Lotus find some other people willing to join the day.
Booking before there are enough others confirmed depends on how lucky you feel.....
Go on, do Hullavington for

My first track was Nurburgring for a long weekend .. I've only been on one track since, and that was Nurburgring again ..
After that, not many other tracks interest me Only 12 corners, you are having a laugh
Got to organise a Training day as I want to get to grips with this new car and become a better driver ..

I've been playing the 'ring on PGR2, GT4 and now Forza just trying to know the track as best I can .. and looking at the times some people are beating me by in the GT4 thread, I should give up now.

Hmm, I would guess with the ring vs smaller tracks that the Nurburghring is more about balls and pushing the driver, whereas a smaller track, you can push the car far harder because you learn the track very quickly. I'll know better in a couple of weeks. This time in 2 weeks I'll be ringing!
