Default Took the airbox lid off today

Took the airbox lid off today for the first time, and WOW what a sound!

I reckon it would be too much to listen to on a daily basis, but what a noise!!!!

If you love VTEC and want to grin all day, try it out

I think it sounds great but if I'm VTEC'ing I like it on as there is a slight power loss which is felt more in VTEC

I love tootling around at low speeds with the lid off at about 10-15 mph in 2nd, then floor it and the car obviously won't shift loads but the sound is so throaty and deep (no pun intended)

You want to try a PRM then. You can pootle around and act all normal and then open up the throttle and the bystanders' attention is well and truly caught. A great sound and I love it on my car.

Hydrolock, IIRC, is what you risk if you take the airbox cover off and water gets into the air system.
