Craig, Jaegar is looking to buy a tonneau cover over on the FS&W board - you might be able to recoup a few pennies to help defray the cost of converting the Grey Growler into the Paper Lawyer Mobile Disco..........

I use the Tonneau cover too, I find it very easy to install, usually its done in 1 minute once you get used to it.
I used mine to goto work as my car is parked undercover in a secure car park I thought it would be ok, but as its in the city centre the dash got full of dust
Now I just use it on long top down journeys and weekends

Now there's an idea Mikey. Storing the cover when the hood is up has been bugging me too. As for the parcel shelf - you can rule this out if you have a wind stop in place
