Default Tonneau Cover - give it a try :)

For all those of you that haven't tried the tonneau cover - use it We tried it for the first time at the weekend (7 months of it living under the spare bed). Took me less than 5 mins to put it on and major noise reduction

No noise from the back at 'slightly' over 70 mph . We could actually have a conversation rather than shouting ( not that we really want to talk to each other )

When we put the roof up we just left it inside the car - figured that if you needed to drive with roof up could probably get it on back shelf but didn't try (if boot was full in case someone is a smart ass )

Give it a go

I fitted ours yesterday morning for the first time as well. Was surprised how easy it was to do, after reading some of the problems some peeps had had on here. Looks much tider, and there is an improvement on the noise front as well. Gets the from me, but still think I would only use it on days where there is a 99% chance of no-rain!

Mine lives in my boot at the moment, haven't tried it yet as it has a few scratches and might look tatty. Sounds worth it though if it cuts down the wind noise.

If you ask all the chaps and ladys who went on the nw meet at the weekend,we did a lot of miles and some very dusty roads we looked in some cars and you could see the dirt under the roof as they were all down,my car had the cover on all weekend and the inside of my roof was like new it also stops dirt getting into the workings of the roof, just tghink of the cost a new motor or arm for that roof would cost ,that should make a few more USE IT!!!!

That is a very good point as I have the vinyl rear screen.!! I guess it will help improve the sound quality from the ICE as well!?

Another learning exercise for the weekend then!

Put mine on the car for the drive on Sunday.

1. Clip both poppers in behind the seats by pulling on the cover to s-t-r-e-t-c-h it into place

2. Pull the elastic bits down & popper them in place by the doors

3. Make sure its all snug by slapping the cover on the top to locate the lugs under the back rim

Easy peasy. I never have a problem with mine. Don't know what all the fuss is about.

Then again, I haven't been caught out in the rain with it on......
