Sell the cover on Flea-bay. Problem solved . I've never used mine. It's a sad afterthought. I'm surprised somebody like Muz has not produced a good aftermarket one.

Would be good to get a full tonneau over the entire cockpit area when the roof is down, with a central zip so you undo half of it when just a driver. Had that on my 1966 Spitfire, very smart it looked too. Mind you didn't have headrests back then, let alone roll bars, plus took several minutes to put up the roof frame, then attach the hood. So in the summer didn't put the roof up for weeks at a time.
