Yes but you need software version 4.21 or later...... each POI can have a warning sound which can be triggered at different distances.

E.g. I've got the fixed speed cameras set to a warning tone at 300 yards if on the road I'm travelling....... mobile laser sites are set to a differnt tone and 1000 yards distance. Shell and BP stations have a bugle when within 2 miles of one.

You set the sounds up in the POI menu.
Can you download the speed camera locations somewhere for free ? I know the TOM TOM site charges a subscription.

Dear Mr Wootten,

Thank you for your email.

The CD box set for the Maps of Western Europe for the TomTom GO will be available on our website from the end of June.

Until then you will be able to purchase pre-loaded SD cards with maps of individual countries on from our website.

With best regards,

The TomTom Customer Support Team

Having recently purchased a Tom Tom Go 300, I wish to purchase the Maps of Western Europe.

The product code, as supplied on a card in the box, is shown as follows:

97W2U HND3D ZFZZ2

When I enter this code, the site reports it as invalid. I am doing something wrong?

I really need to order the Europe maps asap as I am going on a month long driving holiday to Europe in the middle of July and I see that it can take up to 5 weeks for the maps to be delivered!

Please help!

Thanks

Nick Wootten

Just had another check and it does seem that you can but the Europe maps at 129 euros per country, without the product code. I just need that to update my existing software.

However, I was told that the maps of western europe would cost
