I'm just about to order it. I understand it has complete postcode recognition amongst other things.

Are you using navigator 3 bluetooth for palm at the moment? I've seen version 5 on kelkoo at around 200 quid, and was interested (I have a Tungsten T5). I,ve heard there were a few software issues with PDA versions, is this true or was the guy just trying to trick me into buying the GO 700 for mega dosh?

Can't you get the upgrade to version 5 for free? With the TomTomGO you can upgrade for free...... however if you want the latest maps and full postcode support you do have to pay.

So far I've just gone with the free upgrade on my GO...... version 5 is a big step forward compared to previous small changes. I've been using it for a few weeks with no problems....... main improvements are (in no particular order) a compass, navigate to city/town centre option, full postcode support (but only with the new maps), visual route demo, intinerary planning with savable routes and waypoints, speed sensitive volume control (can't remember if this was new in v5 or v4).

Well worth the trouble to upgrade
