It's got to be a colour I really love. I couldn't give a stuff about shifting it on afterwards to be honest. If I'm spending a couple of grand on a £3k car, it's for me, not the next owner.
I very nearly bought an Exige in that green colour a few years back but I honestly don't think I could live with anything that shouty loud.

Before I started selling up, this was exactly my thought, I got a full quote of £3600 from a local panel works, so do a complete respray including removal of all scratches dents and rust..
If I was to do it, I would go quite a bit different, I love the Lamborghini greys:
And I always loved the blue on my old CBR!

So I sell mine, put the £3k towards it and what do I have? A £6k budget to buy an old Berlina black (Or MCB) that needs loads of work to bring it back to the spec mine is now at.

There was a lovely black with a purple flip Honda did for just one MY; burgundy black and the S looks fantastic in that.
refinishing in grey's a CWOT; looks just like every f ucking Audi out there.

I'm not keen on the grey primer look of the Lambo's. Reminds me of the back half of a Chevette* I once had...
