Tidying up a few interior parts
Hi, I'm looking to tidy up a couple of bits of interior that have a little wear and tear. Namely the Gearstick surround and roof/hazard switch surround.
The gearstick surround is a polished metal underneath I believe, I was thinking of sanding the top surface so it's flat and then using something like plastic dip to put a new matte coat on? Or something permanent instead with the same matte finish?
Not really sure what to do with the roof/hazard switch surround other than the same - sand it back and a fresh coat of paint.
Any ideas or examples of doing this? Thoughts?

I carbon wrapped my gear stick surround and think it looks quite good. A bit of spray paint on the hazard/roof switch section would tidy that up.
You can get it all apart from the underside once you lift off the panel. Think there are a couple of plastic rivets under the switch console that you may need to split to get it all deprecated.
