Hmmm. No obvious bombs complete with visible numbers rapidly counting down, so I guess it probably is the cat.
Phew.
Now, what about a ghastly screeching noise whenever you apply the throttle too hard? Seems to be coming from the rear and it usually accompanied by a rubbery smell and smoke. Its very worrying.....

ho ho - I can barely VTEC in first before a) breaking the speed limit and b) driving into the sea
its all very annoying
in all seriousness, i have crunched into second gear from first twice recently and it did not sound pleasant - won't do that again!
