Ticking after valve adjustment

Ticking after valve adjustment
My car was deathly quiet before i got the valves adjusted and now there is distinct valve tick after valve adjustment. Mechanic said they were very tight before.
Now i know that the looser the valves are set the more the engine will tick and i know that there is always some ticking from hondas but i was just wondering what level of ticking it should be
My mechanic is adamant that it sounds exactly the way it should but i just hate the way it sounds after the adjustment.
Does anyone have a video of how a perfect s2k should idle?
Thanks

Wouldnt worry, if anything goes wrong just shout at the mech, you have made him aware that it doesn't sound to your liking.
Would show you mine idling but you wont be able to hear it over the TCT and loose manifold bolt rattling!

If the mechanic has set them exaxctly at the recommended specs, and he did it when the car was cold, then there should be no problem at all.
Tight is bad and the lack of ticking might have been because they were overtight.

Yeah there was zero ticking from it before - sounded great haha - it sounds like a tractor now.
Mechanic is happy he set it to recommended specs and he done it after replacing my gearbox so would of been cold (dropped it to him at 11 and he was doing the valves around 7pm)

So the time to worry is when they dont tick
The DBW s2000 have problem with narrow clearance issues and gap them more than Honda says <exhaust>
