You are right, it doesn't. But bare in mind, they are just talking about the principle and the technology of what Spoon uses in their thottlebody. Ofc if you decided to gas flow the manifold etc etc... I am sure you get more benefit from it. But then again is more money spent.

Your assumption is correct. However, it never really match up perfectly because the inlet manifold and the throttlebody are made separately. What Spoon did was to take the OEM thottlebody and bore it out. They infact has a deal where you can give them your old thottlebody in exchange for their bore out one for cheaper price.

I bought Spoon to match up with the air filter and air duct, what I liked about spoon is that most of the stuff they make is a direct bolt on with minimal to almost none modification required which is perfect for me to DIY.
